Driving on a lake

For those that don't know, in Minnesota you can drive out on the lakes during the winter. Some crazy people that like fishing go set up huts and ice-fish as soon as the ice is thick enough. Well, Stephen's REALLY wanted to go out for a while and I told him I'd let him... if I saw bigger cars than us out there. A big Dodge Ram 2500 drove out and so he felt vindicated. So we went out.... it's still pretty freaky, even if you know you aren't going to fall through. I mean, you're driving on ice. There aren't brakes on ice, and last I heard it's not super easy to direct the car where to go... it's all about the direction of your momentum. Anyway it was interesting.

On Lake Minnetonka

On another note, Stephen and I started the house search this last Saturday. It's an exciting and yet scary prospect. We really don't know what we're actually going to end up with. And it's really frustrating what we can afford in the area we want to live. We'll just see how it plays out.
