Samantha turned 1 on September 11. I'm amazed at how quickly the year has gone by. Samantha continues to grow (now being 21 lb 11 oz and 31.5 inches long) and develop (she's mostly walking now). And yet some things have remained the same. She's still mostly a happy girl that loves to be around people. She's moved from observing to just being curious and taking out anything and everything from each cabinet and drawer. Her favorite food is either pizza, or spaghetti. She has a healthy appetite and usually will eat a regular sized portion. Especially if it's spaghetti or pizza. She still loves to swim and the bath. But she also likes going on walks outside and pushing her stroller. Anyway, she's full of energy and we love her.
We celebrated her birthday at home with a chocolate birthday cake and presents, the next day we had a joint party for Kellen and Samantha (Kellen is about a month older) at Stephen's parents' house. I made cupcakes for that. Samantha didn't like the Funfetti cake as much as the chocolate.
