Friday after Thanksgiving we went out with Stephen's parents, the Smith-Smiths, the Paksimas and Taylor (the Elwoods were in Oklahoma) to chop down a Christmas Tree! Samantha was completely bundled up and Stephen carried her around. It was a fun experience and Samantha was a doll. Although by the end of the morning she was a wee-bit tired.

Samantha is changing so fast. It's just amazing to me. She enjoys her Bumbo chair more now, since she can hold her head up much longer. She's started reaching for toys now too. She's also sleeping longer at night. Last night she slept from 10pm-7am. It was glorious.

Sammi's definitely the cutest baby I've ever seen. But then again... she's my baby.

As far as my recovery... it's coming along. There are times that I definitely don't feel normal, but it's continually improving. I've been doing Pilates and occasionally some swimming. Next week I'm going to Lifetime with Sarah for Yoga since Samantha will be 12 weeks and can go into the Child Care Center. So far I've lost 32 of the 50 pounds I gained. I have the hard weight left to lose, I lost the first 23 by my 6 week appointment without doing anything. We'll see where I even out to.
