Samantha's first Christmas

For Christmas we went to Delaware. Charisse and Sammi flew out on the 13th of December and Stephen drove out with Charisse's brother Destin the next week. Everyone in Delaware was SO excited to see Samantha, and they all got a kick of her silly behaviors such as: being moth like and looking at anything with light, getting stuck on her side (she can't or won't roll over), her habit of spitting up, and pretty much anything she did they loved especially when she smiled.

Christmas was good for the Smith Family. Stephen got some biking attire (for cold weather) and a new camelbak. Charisse got a lovely new coat and the serving and hostess sets for her dishes. Samantha got a jumper, a tray for her Bumbo chair and some small toys and books. She also got a very cute bracelet from her Aunt Summer. We got a GPS TomTom from Charisse's parents. It came in handy while we were driving back to Minnesota!

Samantha loves her jumper! She'll spend an hour in it without any complaints. You can only tell she's tired because she stops jumping and just hangs there, but she still doesn't whine.

Stephen and I have been married for two years now! I know for veterans its such a short period of time but I'm amazed at how many changes have taken place in that short of time.

As one of my anniversary presents, Stephen asked Sister Engebretsen to make us a cake. She made our wedding cake and told us she'd make one for our anniversary. It was absolutely delicious!
