Samantha seems to be a true Minnesotan because the cold doesn't affect her at all. It snowed this past week and Stephen was getting his snow gear on to go shovel the driveway. It's 7pm and like 0° and Samantha comes in with her hat on and holding her boots. She wanted to go outside. So, we take the 15 minutes it takes to bundle her up and figure she'll be out there for like 5 (It was cold and windy). Amazingly she stayed out there a good while (30 minutes) and would have stayed out longer had she not fallen face first in some snow. Here's a video of her at the beginning.
When Stephen moved on to the driveway (in the video he's on the path between the house and garage), Samantha would walk along the paths he already forged. Back and forth, it was quite cute. She got a bit confident though and tried to go into uncharted territory, and that's when she fell.

One of our Christmas presents was a puzzle. A 1500 piece puzzle. And we finished it last night! We started it the day after Christmas, so it's been a long adventure. Samantha only wrecked parts of it up 6 or so times that I had to redo during the course of the few weeks.
In other news: Samantha now has 6 teeth (her 4th on the bottom broke through last week... she's a slow tooth getter). And I painted the hallway yesterday. Next up: the bedrooms.

Kids just have no temp control. Jared walked home from the Sassers yesterday barefoot!
Congrats on the Hall! Maybe I will paint again. I keep thinking about it. Just don't want to make the mess.
Oh my gosh. That video is so funny watching her wobble around.
I can't believe you've done the hallway. We are still picking out colors for the main floor. You'll have to come over and give me your opinion. Seems you have better decision-making skills than me.
