Nauvoo – Part 2: Sunday

On Sunday, after attending the 10 o’clock Sacrament Meeting we headed out to Carthage, IL to see Carthage Jail. The weather was a slightly better 43 degrees and we managed to get some non-coat pictures.

I wanted to attempt to get an “eagles eye” shot. But Samantha was done taking pictures and preferred to play with her legs.

That evening, Stephen wanted to get some pictures of the temple at sunset, but because of how cloudy it was there wasn’t ever a good sunset. So we settled on some night shots. Here are a few of my favorites.

I love being around the Temple at night :)

It actually looked better in the pictures than in real life because the Temple really wasn't that well lit--it looked more gray than white.

I know you were there with mom and dad - do you have any pictures of them? How did you put your name on the bottom of the pictures. Love what you've done with them.

I have a picture of your mom and dad covered in blankets on the wagon ride, but no others. I haven't seen all the pictures they took though. To get the name on the pictures I put a watermark on it using a blogger writing program I got on Vista.
