One of my nieces (Lucy) decided to give Samantha one of her favorite dolls from when she was little. It’s a cute doll that has two outfits, slippers, a hat and a diaper. Samantha loves to (make me) change it’s outfit and “change” the diaper. It will be perfect for when the baby comes and when I change the baby she can change HER baby. Anyway, Samantha has also begun wanting everything in her crib when she goes to bed. Usually they just end up on the sides but last night I went to check on her and this is what I found.
Samantha has also named the two she plays with the most. The one on the left is named “Baby” and the one on the right is called “Dolly” (Definitely a 2 year old naming them). If I ever call Dolly Baby, Samantha corrects me. Dolly’s real name is Rachel, or was when Lucy had her. (The doll on her face is a real cute doll I got as a baby gift from a sister in law, I call it Peanut because it came with a peanut shell).
The pregnancy is going well. I can feel the baby a lot now, which is a lot earlier than I could feel Samantha (or knew that I was feeling Samantha). We go in for our ultrasound on October 13th so that’s when we’ll be finding out the sex (hence why I put up a poll to the right). People are finally starting to figure out I’m pregnant which is funny because I’ve been telling people for over 2 months. News seems to travel slow in this ward.
