“I helping!”

Samantha had her 2 year check up this past Wednesday and here are her stats:

Height: 36 1/2 inches (95%)

Weight: 28.5 pounds (75%)

So she remains a long and lean type of girl.  She’s always looking so much older and never really went through the toddler chubby stage since she grew so fast.  She also got two shots and didn’t cry at all.

Today I was in charge of the practice for the Primary Sacrament Meeting Program so Sammi got some daddy time.  Stephen’s car has been leaking power steering fluid and so he took on the task of replacing the power steering pump (before he totally removed it he figured out it was a hose and not the pump that was leaking) as we continue to extend the life of our ‘91 Camry.  Samantha is the ultimate “helper”.  Wherever the action is, she wants to be there and so she was “helping” daddy by taking his tools and giving him sockets that he didn’t need.  I’m sure my dad will say “Just like Charisse”.  Of the 5 children in my family I was always the one sitting at my dad’s tool bench asking him what he was doing and giving him tools.  Maybe we have a little engineer in the making.

I’m debating cutting her hair.  The curl makes it really hard to decide to cut since it wouldn’t lay in much of a bob if I did cut it.  But is it really a mullet? The top is straight and the sides and bottom are curly…

I love little "helpers". Leave her hair. It looks cute. Naomi's looks like a mullet too...just doesn't' grow on the top.

She looks so cute...I say, Keep the curl. What a great helper she is going to be when she actually is helping.
