Definitely our daughter

Today we made a family trip down to Burnsville to the Honda dealership to get our CR-V serviced. Why a family trip? Because I didn’t want to go in by myself with the two girls, and I wanted to look at the newer models.

They have an entire customer lounge set up for people waiting with free cookies, water and coffee, a tv, magazines, computers and children’s toys. Samantha sat down happily to draw on an magna-doodle but when we told her we were going to look at cars she ran off skipping & yelling “cars! cars!” and proceeded to crawl right into the 2010 Odyssey and buckle her seat belt. She didn’t last long in that seat and crawled to the backseat and even the driver’s. I wanted to look at the new Pilot (it’s HUGE and gorgeous… I want one… dark grey and leather. Thanks :)) so we told Sammi we were going to go find the trucks. Stephen got detoured at the Civic, with Samantha following him in. We found the Pilot (not hard) and Samantha immediately yelled “TRUCK!” and climbed in. In the driver’s seat she would put her hands on the steering wheel and say “vroom vroom” and mess with the turn signal knob. She also managed to lock the doors and when a sales guy tried to unlock it, he set off the alarm. whoops? Samantha also spotted the Ridgeline yelling “OTHER ONE!” (meaning another truck), and ‘drove’ that one too. Her favorite part was coming out the window when I got her out of each car.

As a side note: she had no accidents while there! We did have a diaper over top of her underwear just in case, but she stayed dry. Hooray Samantha!

Car shopping is fun...I am glad Sami likes doing it with you guys...and I totally am lusting after a Pilot like you. True love. Sigh.

When will you teach her how to judge a car by it's suspension system? :)
