I accidently left the clippers out this morning after cutting Stephen’s hair. Samantha doesn’t generally get into things, but i guess she was a bit fascinated by them after watching me use them. So, while I was on the computer later today (and had forgotten completely about the clippers, and the fact that they were still PLUGGED-IN) she experimented with them against her french braids. She probably didn’t know she had done anything since her hair didn’t come out. But after bonking her head on something (an hour later and after having brought me the clippers to take off the guard; which is when I did put them away), Stephen took her braids out and big junks of hair started to come out.

Fortunately, the hair on top covers it up pretty well. We’ll hope for a speedy return to the hair, and I’ll be more vigilant in putting the hair cutting supplies away.

That is so sad and yet so "normal". Sam is still growing in a patch right on the front of his head. He does it every few months.
