Charisse has been in DE for more than a week and it's interesting how things are different. Here are 5 reasons why Charisse and Samantha should not go anywhere without me.
1. I'm not nearly as productive as I had imagined I would be without anyone else around. I thought I would get all kinds of projects done, but I haven't even fully cleaned the house yet.
2. The kitchen is not nearly as clean as it usually is which is strange because I've used it much less and I'm the one who generally does the dishes.
3. I don't go to bed any earlier.
4. I eat *poop, a lot of poop when left to my own devices. I'll have a little present waiting for Charisse right around my belly button when she gets home.
5. I miss Charisse and Sammi tons especially since Samantha is learning at about 60 gallons/minute these days (which is a lot in case you were wondering). I have to watch little video clips that her siblings post occasionally to bater a saudade (quench my longings) and see the new things that she's learning.
Despite these, I'm glad that they have the opportunity to go visit her family and share Sammi's cuteness with everyone on the east coast. She has plenty to share:)
*Poop in this context refers only to the quality of food consumed and not to the excretive matter commonly know by the same name.

We appreciate the loan of Charisse and Sammi as well but it would have been even better with all of you together. That may have also avoided the messy condition you have described as "poop" eating so I think that next time you won't be allowed to stay home alone - you will just have to join the "women folk" on the trip to the East coast.
You must be a daddy. Its amazing how much life changes especially with a child around.
