A great snowstorm

The snow never melted from before Thanksgiving, and we just keep getting more snow piled on.  This snow came on December 11th.  Stephen is very grateful that we randomly bought a snowblower off of craigslist back in September.  A wise investment on our part.

This was the first time that day that Stephen blew the driveway (around noon).  He did another round at 4 or so and it was just as much.

We decided that Samantha needed to get out of the house.  I think she was outside for maybe 30 minutes.  There was quite a wind.  But Stephen is determined to not have a sissy girl for a daughter.

We were going to go to our friend, Laurel’s, play “A Klingon Christmas” that evening but it ended up being cancelled by the theatre because of the storm.  Instead we took our CR-V 4x4ing on the streets to her house to have dinner.  While there we found out that church was cancelled the next day (which was like the second time EVER for Minnesota) and ended up spending the night because both Clara and Sammi were already asleep. So we had a very relaxed weekend. :)
