Swing set

One of Stephen’s coworkers moved to Ohio in August and they offered us their swing set (that they had inherited) since the new owners of their home didn’t want it.  So one day after work, Stephen met his dad (with a trailer) and brother-in-law Mark (with a truck), to take the wooden structure apart.  Note: wooden swing sets really aren’t meant to be taken apart.  They did manage to get it apart and transported without too much effort.  Most of the bolts needed to be replaced so Stephen’s dad came over the next day to help Stephen assemble it. (isn’t our ladder just fabulous? Yeah the people that abandoned our house thought so too, hence why they left it.)

But before they got started grandpa had to visit the little cheerleaders on the side lines.

So cute.

Samantha on the two person swing after it was up.  She figured out she could go sideways.

It had rained the night before assembly so Samantha didn’t want to go on the slide.  But the next morning it was all dry, and even bug free so Samantha enjoyed it some more.

Inspecting the slide.  She’d make me get the bugs and dirt off of it.

Playing on the rings, and finally ready to go down the slide. (And I did her hair! Amazing, I know.)
