Visit from the Delawareans Part 2

Stephen took off Wednesday-Friday off work to make it more vacationy. (Plus, Stephen is much more a “Let’s GO!” type of person than me… or anyone that is related to me) So on Wednesday we went to the Science Museum. Samantha loved testing the different kinds of sediment (filling and pouring out an elephant watering can on different size rocks), Dalton’s favorite, I believe, was balancing the different weights, Stephen loves showing off his prowess at figuring out the different displays to make it do what he wants.

Thursday we invited some of Stephen’s family along and we canoed down the St. Croix river! My mom really wanted to do something “Minnesotan” and other than going up to Boundary Waters or going Ice-Fishing, this seemed like a pretty Minnesotan thing.

Friday consisted of finishing up framing and plumbing the laundry room so that the washer could be re-hooked up. (A week without a washer… good thing we have so many clothes) That evening my dad took us out to dinner in Wayzata (pronounced Why-Ze-Ta) and we walked to Wayzata Beach.

I think Dalton had an especially good time :)

It was great to see the fam. We’re always sad that we can’t always get together with my other siblings in Utah. But we’ll all be together again for Christmas this year, and that should be fun.
