A new little one

As can be seen by the floating creature over to the right, Stephen and I are expecting our second child. I had my first appointment with my midwife today and she managed to find the heartbeat, which at 9 weeks is sort of hit or miss with the doppler. But we found it at a strong 180 bpm, so it seems all the more real and the exhaustion might seem more worth it. I'm due around the 2nd of March, which will be great if I have it that week. However, don't really expect anything until maybe the 16th or something. At least, I'm trying to not be too optimistic to set myself up for disappointment when I go over... again. Anyway, we're very excited and wondering how Sammi will do with someone else taking some of her mother's time. (They'll be 2 1/2 years apart).

Hey Charisse,

Thanks for your comment on my blog about having a "safety net" when buying a house (and of course I remember you. I remember everyone from that community, possibly because it was my cousin Jensen's community, and possibly just because you were all awesome).

I imagine that a "safety net" would be equally comforting when having children! Congratulations and good luck!
