After two nights of not sleeping because of coughing and the second freaking Stephen and I out because Samantha was breathing really shallow, I took her into the doctor yesterday. We've discovered that somehow she has come down with pneumonia in the middle of the summer. She is now on Amoxicillin and nebulizers. She does really well with both. When it's time for her nebulizer (we call it her "fishy mask") we'll read books or she'll watch Blue's Clues and keep the mask on, surprisingly.

You'd actually never guess she had pneumonia if you heard her (well other than some rasping). She's as happy as ever and babbles on and on. And today I'm happy because with some help of propping her pillows, she slept through the night so *I* got to sleep the entire night.

So sorry she got that! It is not fun to wonder if you should go to the dr. or not.
