4 Years

I accidentally skipped right over the fact that on December 30, 2009 Stephen and I reached our 4th wedding anniversary while out in Delaware.  I say “reached” and not “celebrated” because we spent the day with my family in New York City  (which was fun!).  We did go out to dinner on the 29th in honor of our anniversary, nothing elaborate though.  It was a funny restaurant that had a group of really funny old women all decked out in fur coats, sequin red berets and red feathers in their hair (and a lot of them had purple dresses on as well). 

I’m so grateful to have Stephen as my eternal companion.  He’s such a great balance for me.  I love seeing how life is a joy to him and am glad that he can teach that to our children (and me).
