Along with yesterday being my mother-in-law’s, a brother-in-law’s and a niece’s birthday it was also this one’s 2 month birthday
A captured smile
It’s been fun getting to know Clara’s personality; and while being a generally calm baby is the same as Sammi everything else is quite different.
- Clara has a very “happy” time right after she wakes up (from nap or bedtime) and eats. She loves to smile at us at this time.
- She doesn’t cry much (usually it’s a grunting squawk), and when she does it’s not very loud.
- Most nights she gets up once around 5 or 6 hours, but randomly she goes 8 hours.
- Clara LOVES being held, cuddled and swaddled and sleeps much better if she can’t move her arms at all.
- She’ll sleep in any position as long as her arms are tight.
- She likes her pacifier reasonably well and will even take a bottle.
- She hasn’t been to the doctor yet for her 2 month check-up, but she’s right on par with her sister’s growth as she is now fully into her 3-6 month wardrobe.
And for everyone’s enjoyment here are some comparison pictures, everyone at about 2 months. Sadly, I don’t have any pictures of Stephen as a baby I’ll have to go find some at my in-law’s and include them next time I compare.
