I love fall. It might be my favorite season. Scarves, boots, cute jackets, and then of course nature and all the changing colors. I like pulling out my smelling candles as well, as it just seems so great to have the house smell wonderful when it’s a bit cold outside. Last weekend we took to raking our monstrous yard (okay not monstrous, but a 1/2 acre with quite a few trees is no small feat to rake!) Samantha loves to be helpful even if it is trying to help daddy relax before he has to pick up all the leaves that made a lovely long snake… (which if it didn’t connect Samantha would tell us that the snake ‘broke’)
We also built our first fire of the season, which was loved by Clara. Clara is also very close to crawling. Mostly she’s an expert at doing the “pigeon” from yoga. She gets up on her knees every once in a while but hasn’t figured out the forward motion with being on her knees. I’m sure she’ll get it soon. But she’s eating like a champ (and sleeping! Hooray for 8am wake up call and a 7:30pm bedtime!) Oh and aren’t the jammies my mom got her just adorable? I love the zebra pants.
