There were SO many people there for Maraina and Danny. On Danny’s side: His parents, his mom’s parents, his dad’s mom, and 8 of his 9 siblings (his brother just younger than him is on a mission in Tonga). For Maraina, she had all her siblings and brothers-in-law, a few of my mom’s siblings, numerous cousins, and of course the Faux family.
Stephen and I tag-teamed pictures at the temple (we both had a camera: Stephen with a wide angle lens, and me with a zoomer). It was lots of fun, but rough. It started to rain right after we got the big group shots and so we couldn’t take Raina and Danny to some of my favorite spots since it was so muddy. But, I think we got some good shots.
My parents had the girls while we were trouncing around the temple grounds, and we were on a tight shift with when we had to be back up in Delaware (a 2 hours drive at least) for the professional photographer who would be taking pictures at the reception. Fortunately, I had mentally stated a time that we “had to absolutely be done taking pictures” about a half hour before we had to “absolutely be leaving the temple”. The last picture was the last one we snapped before I looked at my watch and it was time to be done.
